A grieving therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she thinks. Despite her training and ethics, she finds herself making a huge difference in people’s lives, including her own. The cast of “Shrinking” shares the best moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveals who made the biggest impression on Harrison Ford. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on board, Segel said that Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and intended to audition with people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least introduce him to Ford, thinking he would immediately decline, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being cast in the project, which would spark interest from other big-name actors. Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was excited nonetheless. There’s a lot of character growth in the first and second episodes, the jokes are well-crafted and executed, and the entire cast is great! This is one of the best episodes of Piolet I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an incredible job in his supporting role, and Jason Segal does an amazing job playing a flawed, damaged character trying to be a better person and father. This is one of the best performances I’ve seen in a while! This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I can appreciate the fluidity of the script. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite shows after two episodes. I hope the others are just as good!!
